Who Is EV Rob?
I’m Rob, and I write every review on this site. No committee, no rotating cast of freelancers, no press release rewrites. Just one person who got curious about electric cars and never stopped.
The Wonderful World of EVs exists because shopping for an electric car is still harder than it should be. Range numbers move depending on who’s quoting them. Charging speeds get advertised at their best possible moment and never mentioned again. Tax credits change while you’re reading about them. I wanted a place that sorts through all of that in plain language, without pretending every new EV is a revolution.
How I Review
Every review covers the same ground: what the lineup actually costs, what the range really means day to day, how quickly it charges, what living with the interior is like, and who the car is genuinely for. Head to head comparisons score each category separately and name a winner in each one. I don’t declare an overall winner, because the right answer depends on what you care about, and I’d rather hand you the scorecard than pretend your priorities match mine.
Specifications get checked against manufacturer sources. When something is an estimate, I say so. When I’m expressing an opinion rather than reporting a fact, that should be obvious from the writing. And when I get something wrong, I’d genuinely like to hear about it.
Independence
This site earns money through advertising and affiliate links, and it may accept review units, loaner vehicles, or press trip travel. None of that decides what I conclude about a car. Sponsored content, if it ever appears here, gets labeled as sponsored. All reviews are the honest opinions of EV Rob.
